Mossey Joe impresses at Tipp
Punters at Tipperary were kept happy today when 11/4 favourite Mossey Joe ran out a convincing winner of the Glenview Rathbarry Studs Novice Hunters Chase.
Damian Skehan whose mount was always travelling well hit the front three flights from home and the pair drew clear from the last to post an eleven length win over Kanesh and Ross O'Sullivan.
Winning trainer Austin said afterwards: "We've no plans for him yet. We might just leave him out on grass and comeback for a chase."
"He's been on the go awhile now, so we'll see what the owners say. He won't run on hard ground anyways."
