Mossback at 33s on chase debut

Mossback made a winning start over fences at odds of 33/1 in the Paddy Power Fast & Convenient Phone Betting Beginners Chase at Naas.
Mossbank is owned by Gigginstown House Stud, and another one of their runners, Avenir D'Une Vie put it to his rivals from the front.
That took many of his rivals out of their comfort zones but ultimately the big guns were close enough if good enough in the straight.
A second winner of the session for Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy after their victory in the 12.35 with Ball D'Arc (also Gigginstown owned), Mossback in the end had three lengths and seven lengths to spare over Snow Falcon and Bacardys (evens favourite).
Gordon Elliott commented afterwards: "That was a bit of a surprise. I thought he'd want further and he does want further as he was off the bridle but kept galloping. He will definitely go further."
