Mosman wins again for Butler
Mosman Park justified favouritism when following up on his recent win at Listowel on Monday when he came home in front of the Ladbrokes.com Handicap Hurdle in the hands of Robbie McCarth.
Michael Butler’s charge took up the lead travelling well entering the straight and the pair forged clear after the last to score by a comfortable seven lengths.
Winning trainer Butler said afterwards: “Johnny [Allen] won on him the last day and gave him a good ride. "
"We decided to claim off with today on account of the penalty and Robbie [McCarth] was good on him.”
“We had originally planned to give him a break after today but that might change now, he likes a mark in the ground.”
“It’s great for the owner Caroline Mills who is from Abbeyleix.”
