- More joy for Elliott and Kennedy
More joy for Elliott and Kennedy
Definite Ruby (blinkers) leads them home under Jack Kennedy

Definite Ruby s (12s into 8s on track) win in the Grade C Hanlon Concrete European Breeders Fund Glencarraig Lady Mares Handicap Chase saw Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy combine for success for the second time at the Punchestown Festival 2016.
Elliott and Kennedy teamed up for a stylish winner yesterday with Missy Tata, and indeed they were unfortunate not to have a second with Jury Duty.
Here there was plenty of money in the betting ring for Solita (finished eighth) and Perfect Promise (ninth) but it was Padraig's Joy (33/1, second) and Cresswell Breeze (11/1, third) that pressed Definite Ruby hardest.
However Definite Ruby stayed on well up the run-in to beat the last-named pair by half a length and a head. Emily Gray ran another excellent race to finish fourth.
"She had a nice light weight and Jack have her a great ride," said Elliott.
"She liked the bit better ground. It's drying out and that helped. She's tough and has her job done now.
"She'll keep going. We'll enjoy today and see what happens."
P. Townend, rider of Solita trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake at the first fence and never jumped thereafter.
