Moran loses claim
Jockey Davy Moran rode out his claim at Navan by winning the concluding Lynn Lodge Stud EBF Race aboard the Jim Bolger trained Ard Na Greine making it a double on the day for the Coolcullen trainer.
Moran was always prominent on the Galileo gelding, who rallied gamely under pressure from the furlong pole to beat the Ger Lyons trained French Irish by 1 1/4 lengths.
Bolger was earlier successful with the front-running Seachantach a notable first winner for 16-year-old apprentice Ronan Whelan in the Come Racing Here Again Next Friday Handicap.
