Moonmeister failed to find a new home at the sales recently but on his first start since the well-bred three-year-old pleased connections by landing the concluding Christmas Parties At Dundalk Handicap.
Narrowly denied in the preceding heat on Catchy Lass Joseph O'Brien wasn’t for beating on this occasion as he got 6/4 favourite Moonmeister home by a three parts of a length from Elusive Laurence
Gordon Elliott trains the winner for Paula Davidson and he commented: "He'll come back here in a few weeks for another handicap.
"I don't think he'd go on real winter heavy but he jumps well and will go hurdling in the spring." (GC & EM)
