Moir Desire takes Kilbeggan opener
The opening www.kilbegganraces.com Maiden Hurdle at Kilbeggan today saw the Eoin Griffin trained Moi Desire overturn 1/1f favourite Gentle Noel to win by two and a half lengths under Barry Geraghty.
Afterwards Griffin stated “I was worried about the fast ground for Moi Desire coming here as she is a good ground mare and i wouldn’t want to run her too often on fast ground. We’ll mix it between Flat and hurdling now and she may go for a Flat maiden at Galway next.”
