Moi Desire takes Wexford finale
The concluding Owenavarragh Bumper at Wexford today saw Eoin Griffin's Moi Desire return to her best to claim her second course and distance win.
Ridden by promising amateur rider Mikey Fogarty, the daughter of Mull Of Kintyre responded to a string ride to lead a furlong out, eventually scoring a two lengths win over Peqeno Diablo
Afterwards Griffin stated “Moi Desire won a bumper here first time out but wasn't right afterwards. Today was her first run, on her favoured fast ground, since having a wind operation and she'll go hurdling now - she has a future.”
