Miss La Di Da scores for Meade/McNamara
Last year's Champion Apprentice Emmet McNamara recorded his 15th win of the '09 season when partnering Miss La Di Da to win the Tattersalls EBF Fillies Maiden at Leopardstown this evening for trainer Noel Meade.
The daughter of Dr Fong made all and responded well when pressurised by runner-up Hedaaya and third-placed Brushed Aside inside the final furlong.
Afterwards Meade reported “Miss La Di Da is a nice filly but got into all sorts of trouble on her debut at Galway. Her rider then, John Egan, said she'd win her next race and today's win was a decent effort.”
He added “she is a gorgeous looking filly and there should be plenty more to come from her now.”
