Mighty Stowaway recorded his second win in the space of six days when making virtually all in the Ryans Cleaning Handicap Chase at Punchestown.
The Shark Hanlon-trained gelding opened his account over 2m2f at Thurles on Monday, and appreciated the extra half-mile here.
The well-backed 13/2 (from 9/1) chance stayed on really well under Rachael Blackmore to draw clear on the run-in for a six lengths verdict over Neddyvaughan Grand Partner was a head further back in third.
Blackmore said, “He travelled a lot better today and the extra distance helped him. He’s improved again.
“He got in a bit tight to the third last but other than that he jumped really well and he found loads.”
