Mighthy winner for McBratney
Colin McBratney’s Mighty Massini got off the mark over fences after he landed the J.WJ Porter & Co Beginners Chase in the hands of Paddy Flood.
A delighted McBratney said afterwards: “That was a nice race he won. He had a pop around at Naas last week but Paddy said the ground was a bit dead for him and he’d appreciate a bit of better ground and a bit further.”
“His jumping is fantastic and he’s improving all of the time. We will probably go down the Novice chasing route now.”
“Long term plan would be to go for the four miler at Cheltenham in March. He’s very strong and that was a competitive enough race he won today.”
