Micro Manage lands major plunge in the Tipp opener

The market said Micro Manage had progressed well from his debut at the Curragh in August, and he did so in superb fashion with an impressive success in the Athassel House Stud Irish EBF Maiden.
The Willie Mullins-trained colt was available at 33/1 in early morning prices but those odds were quickly snapped up, and the son of Rip Van Winkle was further supported on track from 8/1 into 11/2.
Rachael Blackmore ’s mount headed the front-running South Pacific early in the straight and soon settled the issue.
A three length advantage a furlong out was extended to four and a quarter lengths at the line, with Elite Trooper Grey keeping on one pace in third.
Blackmore said, "He was very professional about his job and jumped a lot better out of the stalls today, than the last day.
"That was lovely and he has plenty of size about him and he has a really nice attitude and he'll have plenty of good days ahead of him."
