Messenger delivers for the Hourigans
False Messenger under the very capable Laura Hourigan, took the concluding Clammers Point Mares Flat Race at Wexford for trainer Michael Hourigan.
The second favourite (4s into 7/2) led from the quarter mile pole and the daughter of Oscar went clear from over a furlong out to beat Lisrose by two lengths.
False Messenger is owned by the Fools On Stools Syndicate from Dublin. They had Ballyboden Lady in training with Hourigan in recent times and they were also involved in Did He Dye Doedidy, a winner at Galway in 2006.
