Menorah impresses at Naas
Newcomer Menorah from the Tom Mullins stable, justified favouritism (well-backed all morning and returned 11/10) when winning the Go Racing In Kildare Flat Race by an impressive 10 lengths in the hands of the trainer's nephew Patrick Mullins for owner Eugene McDermott.
Winning trainer Mullins said afterwards, “He’s a special horse, he’s always shown a lot at home and has never disappointed us.”
"He will have a short break now and we may bring him back for the Bumper at Cheltenham in November or he might go over hurdles straight away.”
