McManus the man with treble
Lieutenant and Sarah O'Brien

Sarah O'Brien and Patrick Mullins fought out the finish of the bumper here on Sunday, but the placings were reversed on this occasion as Lieutenant (1/4) completed a treble for J P McManus in the Season Finale INH Flat Race at Tipperary.
A couple of days ago, Mullins aboard Prince D'Aubrelle, defeated O'Brien, on Oathkeeper, but here girls ruled as the Ballydoyle woman brought home hot-pot Lietenant, three lengths in front of the record-breaking amateur on his uncle Tony's Free Stone Hill
The earlier McManus scorers were Waaheb (Dermot Weld/Barry Geraghty) and Finish In Style (Enda Bolger/Barry Geraghty).
Aidan O'Brien has care of the twice previously raced (6th and 2nd) Lieutenant and he explained: "He's a big easy goer, a big striding horse.
"He's a lovely horse to look forward to but I'll speak to Frank (Berry, racing manager), J.P. and Joseph (son), before deciding on plans and whether or not he goes straight over hurdles."
