Jockey Declan McDonogh completed a double at Dundalk this evening when getting Empress Of Tara up late to win the concluding Racing Post Maiden for trainer Jessica Harrington.
McDonogh earlier partnered Rummaging to win for Michael Halford and again had to work hard for success, getting up close home for a narrow win over Miss Forde
Afterwards Harrington reported by phone “Declan gave her a great ride – I'm not sure if she'll run again or we'll give her a break until next spring. She's home bred and the dam is a three parts sister to Golan.”
