McAteer's good run continues
Liam McAteer was continuing his good run after he landed the Mooney’s Of Monasterevin Handicap with 14/1 shot Snap under Ben Curtis in the colours of the trainer’s wife Bernie McAteer.
Winning trainer McAteer stated afterwards: “He got his draw today. Ben knows this horse very well, he got a grand lead to the furlong pole and he kept on very well.”
“He’s still improving and we use him as a lead horse for the younger horses in the yard. I was delighted to see all of the rain as the ground couldn’t be soft enough for this lad.”
