McAteer on the mark with Thats A Fret
Liam McAteer's Thats A Fret provided an upset in the six furlong handicap at the handicap when winning by a neck at 20/1 from Zaralanta the 11/2 favourite.
McAteer was effusive in his praise for his four-year-old gelding. He said: "The key to the horse was the easy ground. I said to Niall to go straight up the middle.
"NIall said the horse was full of running a furlong out. He's an improving horse, not the biggest but brave and six furlongs is his trip.
"We couldn't get a bid for him at the sales but he owes us nothing."
