McAteer and Cleere score at Bellewstown
The opening race this evening The Cumiskys Real Estate Alliance Nursery was won by Liam McAteer's Croisultan with Micky Cleere doing the steering for owners The Brunabonne Syndicate.
Cleere chased leaders early and improved to lead over 1f out the winner stayed on well to win by 2 ? lengths from Brown Vixen of Tracey Collin's.
McAteer said afterwards, "That was a very professional performance by the horse, he was very unlucky previously at Fairyhouse when he was carried wide off the bend coming into the straight. Michael rides work for me regularly and he advised me to drop him back in trip. We'll look for a winners of one race now for him."
