Maxwell makes most of his Chance
The concluding Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Chase at Ballinrobe today went to the Eoghan O'Grady trainer Chasers Chance under Conor Maxwell.
Chasers Chance raced in mid-division before making progress to eventually get his head in front early on the run-in, to score by a neck from Kilbane River
Maxwell was substituting for the injured Emmet Mullins whose fall from Bablon Brooke earlier saw the rider sustain soft tissue damage to his shoulder. Mullins will have to pass the doctor before resuming race-riding but is expected back within days.
