Maiden win for Johnny
Johnnys Legacy holds the challenge of Discovery Bay

The Jessica Harrington trained Johnnys Legacy gained an overdue maiden win at Dundalk tonight when making it 17th time lucky, and in the process providing jockey Shane Foley with a double, in the [email protected] Maiden.
Foley raced the son of Ecton Park prominently moving him to the front two furlongs out, before staying on well to hold the late challenge of Discovery Bay
Harrington was not present but Foley, who was in action at Meydan in recent weeks, said “Dubai was frustrating – it was hard to get a winner out there but it’s good to be back!
“I thought I was clear in front but Johnnys Legacy wasn’t doing a stroke when in the lead. He’ll get further and will jump a hurdle on fast ground.”
