Maiden win for J'adore Chris

J'adore Chris had many supporters for Roscommon's Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden today and having returned a strongly-supported 1/3 favourite (from 4/7), scored on her third career attempt under jockey Bill Lee.
The Churchill-filly had finished second on career debut at today's venue in July, again filled that position at Killarney last month and in today's race, travelled well and eventually scored by three-parts of a length from William F Browne
Winning trainer Paddy Twomey said “she had two good runs and I'd say she didn't quite stay running over slightly further in Killarney last time. We gave her a few weeks just to freshen up and this race presented itself. It looked like the right spot for her and we're delighted she won. Billy said that extended seven (furlongs) is as far as she wants to go for now.
“We could look at a winners' race or may look at the Ingabelle on Champions Weekend.
“I think we might take the hood off her the next day, she knows how to race. She is qualified for the Foran final as well.”
