Vroum Vroum Mag completed a Graded race treble for Willie Mullins at Cork as she took the Grade 3 Kerry Group EBF Mares Novice Chase with the minimum of fuss.
The French import impressed on her Irish debut at Wexford last month and she was sent off the clear favourite at 1/4 to make it two from two today.
Prominent throughout she was left in front when Elsie crashed out at the sixth last.
Paul Townend (recording a double having earlier won on Black Hercules never had to get serious aboard the five-year-old victor and she cruised clear after the last, going on to score by five lengths. Our Katie who was backed from 6/1 to 9/2 on-course, finished second under Brian Hayes for Garry Aherne.
Paul Townend said afterwards: "She is doing everything we ask of her. She jumped well apart from a bit of a mistake at the second last but nothing serious.
"She won with plenty in hand. She stays as well, although the drop back to two miles and a furlong was no problem."
Speaking from Punchestown Willie Mullins added: "She made a mistake but she got away with it and Paul was good on her.
"She'll probably go back up in trip and we'll stick to the mares races with her. She's one we're looking forward to this season."
