Madden & Morris Dominate at Tipp
Niall 'Slippers' Madden completed a 299/1 treble when he added to his earlier gains on The Phantom Piper and Wins Now as The Rebel Returns strode to an easy win in the O'Dwyer Tarmac Handicap Hurdle.
A second three-timer for Madden, all the victories were achieved in stylish fashion, The Phantom Piper and The Rebel Returns for his boss Mouse Morris. Supporters of the Everardsgrange outfit were rewarded at odds of 119/1 for the brace.
Wins Now was of course for his father and namesake, the J P McManus-owned chestnut belatedly returning to his best.
The Rebel Returns runs in the well-known colours of Michael O'Flynn and these winners were the first for Morris since Baily Rock and Elysian Rock gave himself and Madden a big-priced double at Punchestown on May 27th.
