Seeking Luck (12/1) will be stepped up to Stakes race company after winning on debut in the seven furlong maiden at Dundalk for Ger Lyons and Emmet McNamara.
This win gave Lyons and McNamara a quick-fire double at the track after The Reaper won the previous sprint handicap.
She raced in mid-division before staying on well to win by half a length from Nurpur (5/2). Morning With Ivan (8/1) was third, but even money favourite Dusty In Memphis could only manage fourth.
Ger Lyons said: “She’s a big green gawky filly. It will be a good experience for her. She came from the breeze-ups and knew more than most.
“That’s the first winner in those colours (Qatar Racing Limited) which is very important. She’ll go for a Stakes race next.”
McNamara put up three pounds overweight on the filly.
