The Breeders Cup winning team of Ger Lyons and Colin Keane will be hoping to strike again at Dundalk this evening with Sakti in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Cooley Fillies And Mares Stakes.
Lyons has won this mile Listed race for the past two years and is mounting a serious challenge again with Sakti one of four runners from Glenburnie Stables.
The daughter of Caravaggio won a maiden here this spring and has been runner-up twice since in Listed company including behind Azada in the Garnet Stakes at Naas last month.
Keane’s mount is currently the 9/4 favourite while the James Tate-trained pair Behind The Scenes and Cloud Cover are also among a maximum field of 14 runners.
The eight-race card commences at 5pm with the feature going to post at 6.30.
