Lynch scores third recent win
Fergal Lynch, who is in the process of reapplying for his British jockey’s license, has been in demand since returning to Ireland recently and followed up his recent double at the venue when winning the Irish Stablestaff Association Awards March 3rd 2012 Handicap (div 1) on Cool Athlete at Dundalk this evening.
The top weight eventually came out best in a blanket finish to the mile contest, providing trainer David Marnane, another on duty at Meydan, with his third winner of 2012.
Afterwards Lynch said “Cool Athlete has been a bit unlucky a few times but things worked out well for him there and I really enjoyed that! He is owned by a Dublin based syndicate (Equine Friends Syndicate).”
