Eddie Lynam recorded a quickfire 55/1 double at Navan as Future Icon finished strongly to take the Trim Apprentice Handicap.
The Acclamation filly, successful twice at Naas over the summer, was winning for the third time this season and again benefited from a patient ride.
Ana O’Brien bided her time behind the leaders, and produced the 6/1 chance between horses a furlong out.
She quickened up nicely to head the always prominent 5/2 favourite Battleroftheboyne about 100 yards out, and had two lengths to spare at the line. Eye Glass finished well to take third spot another three quarters of a length adrift.
Lynam was also on the mark in the opening Kells Maiden, also over five furlongs, as Miss Power led home a 1-2 for the Dunshaughlin trainer.
