Luska drawn in by Chimney
Luska Lad third in Wednesday’s Festival Hurdle, put up a brave performance under top weight in the Buy You Tickets Online At www.punchestown.com Handicap Hurdle at Punchestown today but had to settle for second spot, having been run out of a win at the line by Four Chimneys
Luska Lad (officially 8lbs well-in following his most recent run) was giving 21lbs and more to each of his rivals but Four Chimneys (in receipt of 31lbs) arrived late to lead on the line.
Four Chimney’s trainer Willie Austin was not immediately available for comment while winning jockey Andrew Leigh was partnering his eighth winner of the season.
