Lus Na Hoiche wins for Gannon
Trainer Michelle Gannon recorded her first Flat winner, and her second in total, at Tramore today when her Lus Na Hoiche gained a narrow success in the Waterford & Tramore Directors Handicap.
Ridden by Shane 'Dusty' Foley, the daughter of Fath eventually got her head in front close home for a head win over Katcarhue
Afterwards, three jockeys (in full colours) winning rider Foley, winning trainer Gannon and rider Sharon Dunphy (both of whom had rides in the next race) stood in for the winner's photo.
Gannon, who was under time constraints, did briefly give credit to Dunphy's work with the filly, saying "Sharon rides this horse out and has put a lot of work into her."
