It was Wayne Lordan's night at Dundalk as the Cork-man secured himself a fifty one and a half to one hat-trick in the concluding Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk Stadium Handicap on Pat Martin's Reckless Lad
Earlier first cross the line on Tommy Stack's Victorious Secret and on Emmet Mullins' Bittern Lordan oozed confidence on the sweet travelling Reckless Lad.
Having chased the leaders on the inner Lordan's mount improved into third between horses a furlong out.
He was ridden to lead inside the final furlong before going on to triumph by a length and a half from even money favourite Chestnut Fire
"I enjoyed that. It was lovely to watch," said Martin.
"After the last day Wayne said he could come back to seven no problem. He has loads of confidence in him.
"Getting the splits late encourages him and the easier surface also helps.
"It suits most horses better now bar maybe ones that want it really fast."
