Look At The Stars took a good step forward from his debut at Down Royal in June when taking the opening Buckley Agri New Holland Irish EBF Median Auction Maiden in decisive fashion at Listowel.
The Joseph O’Brien-trained colt headed the front-running Harry The Rogue over a furlong and soon took control under Declan McDonogh.
The well-backed 9/4 chance drew clear inside the final furlong to beat 7/4 favourite Cardinal Zin by five and a half lengths. Kilworth Kate keep on into third a further length and three-quarters back.
McDonogh said, "He was a little green going to the start and I was a bit worried that he might have a look but was very professional around the track. We didn't go quick, he got around the track well and picked up well."
