Art Of Logistics maintained his unbeaten record over fences when winning the Grade 3 Buck House Novice Chase at Punchestown today, completing a double for trainer Dessie Hughes.
The son of Exit To Nowhere, under Bryan Cooper, raced prominently in the five runner race which lost Takestan and Saint Gervais at early fences. Cooper sent Art Of Logistics to the front, and past Six Stone Ned at the second last and from there the pair went clear for a five and a half lengths win over that rival with Darwins Fox well held in third.
Hughes later stated “it was a good performance and he's a nice novice to have. It's very seldom we would have any two mile horses and I think he's a two-miler.
“He'll stick to two miles for the moment and there are some nice novice races for him. He has enough pace for it, especially when the ground turns soft.”
