The €55,000 Guinness Handicap is the feature on the penultimate session of the week-long Listowel Festival as 10 runners have been declared for the mile-and-a-half test. The American-bred ran a cracker last time in the Cambridgeshire and previously handled soft ground when just denied at the Galway Festival.
The Southampton Goodwill Chase is the main focus of attention on the National Hunt section of this eight-race card, and there is nothing to choose on official figures between Val De Ferbet and the evergreen Hidden Cyclone Turbojet looks to have a good opportunity in the John J Galvin Maiden Hurdle, while Killarney runner-up Koroleva can go one better in the Listowel Printing Works Irish EBF Mares Bumper.
