Trainer Robbie Hennessy maintained his good recent record as his Space Ship followed up a recent Down Royal win with another at Limerick today, landing the Book Online At www.limerickraces.ie Rated Hurdle under Andrew Lynch.
Lynch, who was completing a double having steered Eight Till Late to win the previous handicap hurdle, moved the son of Galileo to the front jumping the second last and stayed on well for a three and a quarter lengths win over Shutter Island
Afterwards Hennessy said "that's my third winner in less than two weeks so that's not bad for me!"
He added "he had his palate done before his win at Down Royal and Andrew (Lynch) said he took another good blow today so he might come on again from the run. He'll get entries at he Galway Festival."
