A return to Cork saw Leading Actress pick up the winning thread again as she took the opening six furlong handicap.
Willie McCreery 's three-year-old filly won a five furlong maiden as a juvenile at the same venue in June last year but ran unplaced in four subsequent outings.
Billy Lee, in the Godolphin silks, settled her in rear as An Saighdiur and Fast In The Wind set the pace.
He started to nudge her along with under two furlongs to travel and she got a dream split between Fast In The Wind and St Brelades Bay approaching the final furlong.
She was soon ridden to challenge An Saighdiur and collared him in the final 50 yards to win going away by half a length at 10/1. In Salutem the 5/2 favourite, flashed down the outside to take second from An Saighdiur (5/1) who was a short head away in third.
Leading Actress won this off a break of 142 days and this was her first run in handicap company.
