Ostatnia justified good market support when claiming the five furlong handicap at Tipperary for Willie McCreery. Chiclet set the pace on the stand's rail with Ostatnia giving chase in the competitive €24,000 contest.
Billy Lee asked his mount to challenge at the furlong pole and she got to the front in the closing stages for a length-and-a-quarter success.
The winner, who had finished sixth behind Ardhoomey at Navan last time, traded as big as 9/1 this morning but sustained support saw her go to post a 7/2 shot. Lady Mega sent off the 5/2 favourite could only finish fourth.
"She is the laziest thing and needed her two runs this year. The draw helped as she had the speed beside her with Chiclet and everything worked out well,” said McCreery.
"The faster ground the better for her and she loves rattling off it and it was a fast time (57.0sec).
"We'll be aiming at Premier Handicaps as that's her level now and she has enough experience to travel to England for those fast sprints.
“We'll also try to get some black-type at the end of the year."
