Toriangel gained an important winning bracket for trainer/breeder Sheila Lavery when landing the Book Online At DundalkStadium.com Maiden.
The Dark Angel filly out of Viztoria, who won a Group 2 in the Lavery colours, travelled smoothly under Robbie Colgan to lead under two furlongs out.
The 5/1 chance kept on well under pressure inside the final furlong to beat Zaniyka by a length.
The pair pulled nearly five lengths clear of Yester in third.
Sheila Lavery said, "We are completely delighted, she has been knocking on the door. We worked her here last week and were really happy with her. It is great that the maiden came up.
"She deserved to win and it is lovely to get a second winner for the mare (Viztoria).
"I made a mistake in the year, I ran her back too quick. I think she needs a bit of time, so I'll try and not make that mistake again.
"I'll come back for Dundalk. She loved that surface and Robbie said that when he got off her last week.
"There is a Listed race here next week. I'll see what the handicapper gives her, that's really the first thing. She is a home bred and it is worth a go. I'll keep it in the back of my mind, but I think it actually is too soon.
"Viztoria was fantastic and she wouldn't have gone on that (surface)! She was soft ground."
