Lastoftheleaders puts it right 12 months on
Runner-up in the race a year ago to Peak Raider Lastoftheleaders turned the tables on that one in no uncertain terms in the Bar One Racing Ballyhack Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse under Paul Townend (doubling his score after his win on Mikael D'Haguenet .
The well-backed favourite (11/2 this morning into 7/2) had the race well won when having a good look at the last and he eased on from there home to win by eleven lengths.
Moore, supervising Linnel's bid for success in the Betfred Grand Sefton Handicap Chase at Aintree said of Lastoftheleaders in a recent stable tour: "He never got back to the same form after this race last year.
"He'll operate between two and two and a half miles. We'll see how he gets on and depending on how things go, he might develop into a Leopardstown Chase type of horse." (AM & EM)
