Lass leads home Bowe 1,2
Colin Bowe saddled a 1-2 in the Toals Bookmakers-sponsored 2m7f beginners chase, with Model County Lass coming out on top under Andrew McNamara.
The easy-to-back 2/1 favourite shrugged off the challenge of long-time leader Crude soon after the last, and was driven out to beat stablemate Representing (9/2, from 7's) by two and a half lengths.
Bowe said: “She will keep on the go over the summer in three mile chases. The trip is the key to her. The other mare (Representing) found the track too tight but was staying on well.”
