Lambro doesn't disappoint
Paul Townend and Lambro swept aside memories of their unfortunate defeat at Thurles last time when justifying odds of 4/7 in style in the Naas Racecourse On Facebook Maiden Hurdle.
The victorious Milan gelding, in the ownership of Byerley Thoroughbred Racing, travelled well into the straight and he stretched on from the last to beat Portrait King easily.
Willie Mullins, the winning trainer, said: "The drier ground seemed to make a difference. He'll go for a winners of one now. He is a nice recruit from the point-to-point field.
"Hopefully he'll win a few more on nicer ground."
