Lady De Vesci registered her third win in as many months at Dundalk this evening as the Michael Halford trained filly landed the concluding Leading Jockey&Trainer Championship Handicap under jockey Colin Keane.
The daughter of Approve gained her maiden win at the venue in October before following up with a second success last month and today beat runner-up Marmalade N Toast when scoring a length and a quarter success.
Afterwards last year's Champion Jockey Keane said “she did it well. She seems to be a filly that is still improving, and the step up in trip brought out a little more. She could be one for those long distance handicaps in the summer on good ground.
“I was surprised carrying top-weight how well she travelled, and hopefully she can keep improving.”
