Three Kingdoms sprang a 33/1 shock in the concluding race on Derby day at the Curragh when claiming the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap for Dermot Weld.
Leigh Roche settled his mount in rear in the two-miler before making ground up on the outer turning for home.
He hit the front passing the furlong pole and kept on well in the closing stages for a two-and-a-quarter length success.
The winner was last seen finishing last over hurdles at Naas in March and is set to return to jumping with the Galway Plate on the agenda.
“I'm very pleased. He worked very well the other day and got a lovely confident ride for Leigh,” said Weld.
“He'd be the only chaser I have, the only national hunt horse really at the moment, and the Galway Plate will probable be his target.”
