Kinane and Oxx win Listed Race
The K & M Timber Ballycullen Stakes was won Michael Kinane aboard Hasanka trained by John Oxx and owned His Highness The Aga Khan.
Kinane settled his mount in behind and passed to long time leader Hold Me Love Me of Aidan O'Brien's over 1f out and stayed on well to win by a convincing 4 lengths.
John Oxx said afterwards, 'We were unfortunate finishing 2nd in the race last year and finishing 2nd twice in Mallow. It's great to win a big race up The Curragh. We might go for the Leger if we have a chance being placed or maybe come back here for The Finale Stakes in October. She likes the soft ground and she stays.'
