Gigginstown House Stud and Gordon Elliott added to their opening race gains at Kilbeggan with Delegate when Be The Hero (5/1) ran out victorious in the Follow Kilbeggan Racecourse On Twitter Novice Hurdle under Jack Kennedy.
Elliott had three in here, and Be The Hero led home his stable companions Crest (100/30 shot under Bryan Cooper) and Hard To Call (5/6 favourite in the J P McManus colours).
"It worked out great. We had plenty of bullets to fire at it and they all count," said Elliott.
"I thought Jack gave the horse a very good ride. He's slow but he's tough. I think he just had a bit of a look at the gap (going out on the final circuit)."
