Kedleston lives up to his billing in style
That the result of the 7.20 at Dundalk will have been a dreadful outcome for the betting offices in and around Tipperary, almost goes without saying, after Kedleston landed a real good punt from 7s in a place this morning into 7/4. Wayne Lordan's mount duly bolted-up in the Follow Dundalk On Facebook Handicap.
Always on the gallop, the successful Oratorio colt extended from the quarter mile pole and he galloped on with great gusto to beat Chevanah by all of five and a half lengths.
Lordan was in the familiar Terry Corden silks on this Tommy Stack trained runner and the jockey said: "Making the running was a big help to him.
"He had a good run here off 70 and was then dropped down a good bit so he was entitled to go well. He handled the track well." (AM & EM)
