Kavanagh has close shave
HRI Chief Executive Brian Kavanagh was involved in a nasty incident in the parade ring at the Curragh following the running of The Curragh Cup.
The third placed filly, Roses For The Lady got spooked when her lad threw a bucket of water over her and knocked Kavanagh to the ground.
The filly then kicked out catching Kavanagh on his left leg.
His shin is badly bruised, but he is otherwise unhurt and was able to walk to the First Aid room for attention.
