The father and son team of Adrian and Harry Sexton successfully teamed up again with Katherine who took the Sign Up And Save With Fairyhouse.ie Mares Handicap Hurdle.
The daughter of Shirocco won at Kilbeggan last month and Harry Sexton again adopted patient tactics to great effect landing in front at the penultimate flight.
The 13/2 (from 8/1) chance asserted on the run-in to beat Sayitfirst by two and a quarter lengths with Ballycommon Chapel keeping on a further two lengths back in third.
Harry Sexton said, “We were confident coming here today.
“I got there in plenty of time. She’s an unbelievable jumper and that’s a massive help to her.
“She’s been tricky to train and there have been little things that we’ve started to figure out with her.
“The way we are riding her is playing a massive part and she loves passing horses.”
