Johnston plunders more prize money
English-based trainer Mark Johnston and jockey Greg Fairley landed their third winner at Dundalk in as many weeks when 3/1 front-running favourite Licence To Till held off Prospectorus in the one mile two furlong handicap at Dundalk.
Jockey Fairley said: "We got a nice easy lead and he was able to bowl along in front. He's a typical one of ours and kept going at the end. I had a bit left in the tank and won with a bit in hand."
Johnny Murtagh kept Prospectorus up to his work but couldn't quite catch the winner as went down by a neck. Kevkat under Joseph O'Brien was three and a half lengths further back in third.
