Job done with Misty Lane

Not for the first time a morning market mover belonging to Reggie Roberts did the business as Niall McCullagh completed a 26 and a half to one double on Misty Lane (16s in a place earlier in the day into 9/2) as the lightly-raced four-year-old took the Louth Handicap at Dundalk.
McCullagh, a winner on Elusive In Paris earlier in the session, got there travelling well on Misty Lane two furlongs out. The chestnut daughter of Ad Valorem was sent on from a furlong and a half out on the way to convincingly seeing off Fleeting Moment by two and a quarter lengths.
Johnny Feane, representing Rathangan, County Kildare-based Roberts, said: "I don't know where we'll go next but she's a filly that's had a few problems. We ironed those out for today though." (AM & EM)
